A new look for the Old Acetaia

The old Duke’s acetaia reopened to the public completely renewed.

Thousands of fine barrels dedicated to the ageing of the black gold of Modena, skilfully illuminated and enhanced, welcome the visitors with their inebriating scent, in a suggestive journey to discover the Balsamic.

The grape harvest 2018 began with great expectations and promising forecasts: Italy remains the world’s largest wine producer. These are important data also for the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena sector, for which the local grapes are the essential raw materials for the creation of unique flavors and bouquet.

A new important recognition for the brand “Aceto del Duca” during the recent Summer Fancy Food: the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena “since 1891” aged over 3 years gained a position on the podium among the three finalists for the “Italian Food Awards”.

The countdown to “Acetaie Aperte” has begun! The event will envolve the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, and the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. With the cooperation of the Consortium for the Protection of the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, and the Consortium for the Protection of the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, our “acetaia” will be open on Sunday, Sepetember, 24th, offering free guided tours from 10 am to 6 pm, together with other special events.
