Green peas and Serrano ham with Balsamico

This month we are pleased to propose you a recipe that unites the “Balsamico” of Modena to the famous Spanish ham “Jamon Serrano”.



1 pound fresh green peas

1/2 cup onion, diced

1/4 pound of Serrano ham, diced

3 garlic cloves

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Balsamic Vinegar of Modena


Black pepper




Heat the Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a frying pan, then add the onion and sauté until soft (but not brown).

Add the ham and garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes. Add the salt and pepper and the peas and cook for about 3 minutes.

Add the parsley and the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, boil for a little while (about 2 minutes) and serve.
